Tao Fellowship was established in 1998 by Ilchi Lee, to promote the spirit of Tao as universal principles of harmonious living and a peaceful world.
Specifically, it is the Sun Tao Korean Taoist tradition, with its 10,000-year history, that we follow. Sun is the combination of human and mountain, meaning of human being living in harmony with nature. The principles and practices of Sun Tao are available for all retreat guests to learn as part of their stay with us; we seek interfaith friendship, and believe that peace and harmony can be realized through our connection with the Earth - without which, humanity cannot survive.
Indeed, "Mago" is the ancient Korean name for "Mother Earth." Our common goal is the sustainability of Earth and all of its inhabitants, now and for future generations.
Their vision is to see the children of Arizona thrive. They believe children thrive in family environments free from abuse and neglect. Their mission is to successfully engage children and families to ensure safety, strengthen families, and achieve permanency.
Guiding core principles are:
- Safety: All Arizona’s children are safe and protected from harm.
- Permanency: All Arizona’s children live in safe, loving forever families.
- Well-Being: All Arizona’s children are given the opportunity to thrive through support of strong families and their communities
True to our mission, Scott Foundation continues to successfully enrich the lives of kids in the Arizona foster care system and at-risk youth. We are committed to establishing mutually supportive relationships with our key partners that provide valuable resources and support to the kids we serve.
